He is not really sure when he was born or how long ago it was or even where he was born, really he remembers very little of his mortal life, that is what happens when you live forever. What he does remember is his mother, she was so beautiful and caring, and his father was strong and fierce. The other thing that he remembers is the night his life changed. Sitting with his mother within the hut by the fire talking about something, he does not remember, then the screams started to come from the outside.

Jumping out everyone was running and yelling from these people, they did not look normal, some looked like dragons and others like something else and also no weapon seemed to hurt them as the males fought back and failed. Surely his father would be there soon to help, but he did not get to find out as his mother pulled at him to run afraid he would parish like that others then she stopped and fell, he watched her land on the ground and not move again, looking up he turned and started to run up the mountain side. There was a cave up there, a sacred place of the village for the chosen ones, he had not choice but to try and get help since his father was not showing up in the village.

Sure enough some started to follow him as he ran up the mountain, but he knew the wood lands around here and they could not keep up with him, though they did keep trace on him and still followed his path. When he got to the clearing he was almost there and with no trees and such to weave around they were right on his feet, but he made it to the cave just in time to meet two men that took hold of his arms and moved with him inside. He tried to say something to them about the men as he turned his head to look back over his shoulder, but then he seen it, people jumping out of the cave and tearing those men apart. He stopped and stayed quiet as he was stopped in front of someone, and old woman shaking a bowl then poring it out. She smiled and nod and that made him curious, but he was not able to say a word again before another woman jumped on him, knocking him to the ground. What was she doing? It hurt... What... She was bitting him, bitting his neck, but for some reason he did not move.

He became one of them that lived in the cave, those chosen people, how long he spent in that cave with them, learning their ways, and learning to use his new life, it came with a great power. Other time they went from the cave, to catacombs, to estates and finally to mansions. They soon became known as vampire police, making sure that every vampire in their area were not breaking any rules that had been agreed upon by the councils, but other vampires did not like this, they did not think they had to follow any rules and started to fight back against anyone claiming to be a Night Watcher. Even taking on the council of elders, slowly numbers on both sides made a critical drop, the elders before him all perished and very few of the younger ones remained. Those that did stopped that life and went to sleep within the safety of their mansions, but he the last elder now that is, remained out. He stopped being an Night Watcher, though he would teach those vampires doing what they please outside the rules a lesson or two. New Orleans the place that he now stalks in the night, what shall this city bring for him in these new years.
