Even though he had lived in the city for a while now and had not followed them old ways that his clan used to heavily enforced for so many years, branding him as a vampire killer or as they called themselves vampire enforcers. Since his clan is nearly wiped out and the ones that are left decided to live their eternity within their mansions, he choose for a while to continue on with the ways, but slowly started to stop doing it. Now without having enforced the ways for so long he was still looked at by fellow vampire as a murderer and as so he kept his distance on them and left them alone, sadly they did not want to do the same most of the time as that night showed that he met Halo for the first time.
That night must of scared her something awful cause she disappeared after that and he had not kept track to know of her return. This night a long time since that night he ventured out from his new home and traveled his way into some dive of a bar, best places for him, less people meaning less vampires so he was content with that. Walking in and moving over to his that seat he had claimed over time in a shadowy corner he would order his normal drink from the waitress. He watched the few amount of people, most were coupled together, but a few sitting drinking alone, they were the kind you could tell either had a bad day or have been having a bad life just by the way they looked and how they carried them self. Not many in there this night and he was glad as he sipped his drink watching the other people.

Halo was outside of the bar with her camera. She was told by an anonymous caller who somehow got her work cell number, that the celebrity couple she was taking photos of earlier this month was going to be in the area to film part of a movie in one of the alley-ways. Halo could use a few more photos, as far as she knew, she was the only photographer on site - perhaps she was too early or missed it. She tightened the belt around her black trench coat and waited on the stairs of an outside emergency exit along the side of an old warehouse building.
She was partially visible from the front small window at the entrance of the bar. She practised zooming in as far as she could on the people that were walking by and forming a line to get inside. She glanced up to the sign of the bar, one that she only read about in Orleans scrag rags as being a joint for local goth bands to play. She took a few dozen photos and glanced at her watch -- almost 11pm. The caller was positive on a sighting around this area at this time, but Halo saw no sign of any movie trucks, make-up artists or even an abandoned Director's chair about. And funny thing was, this was the 2nd tip this week she got that the celebs were not around. Someone was either playing a trick on her or leading her on to a different location to miss a golden opportunity elsewhere.

Always keeping to himself while he was there he never got involved when the mortals started a fight with one another, the bar keep was good at breaking them up rather quickly, but when the vampires got into it that was a different story. You would kind of think that a place that knew some of their customers were vampires would have a vampire to break up the fight, then again he guess they did, since he was the one that did it when he was around. Liking the soft soothing environment when a vampire fight broke out he was up and taking care of it.
While watching the people within it he caught a partial sight of someone sitting on the stairs on the warehouse across the way with a camera. Supposing in this area that really was not something new to see since there were a lot of people that wanted to catch a shot of someone around here, either it being someone popular or someone cheating on a loved one so he just shrugged a bit till the fight broke out. Even though this was a bare place vampires still fought over the mortals and two where going at it.
Well there goes my relaxing... Seeing the bartender looking over at him he finished his drink and stood up from the chair and walked over to them. Wanting to break it up fast he took a swift motion and elbowed one in the throat and kneed the other in the temple sending them both to the ground then grabbed them by the collar of their shirt and dragged them outside where he tossed them at the curve. Behave yourselves around here. Looking up to the stairs again were he seen the person he looked at you then tilt his head.
